Our THANKS to everyone who came out and supported us, October 1, 2023!
It was a successful event and we thank all of you who donated your treasures to share with our community. We're always looking for Millstadt memorabilia so please contact us if you'd like to share a family memento or any other historical item.
The Millstadt Mini-Museum was held on October 1, 2023 at the Millstadt Township Building displaying items from it's collection of Millstadt Memorabilia to share with the public along with a special guest presentation by, Nicholas J.C. Pistor, former resident of Millstadt.
Items from six different categories were on display; Salute to the Military, Around Town, Millstadt Milestones, School Days, Millstadt Cemeteries and Around the House.
High-lighting the event was our guest speaker, Nicholas J.C. Pistor, author, investigative reporter, historian, and media consultant. Over two decades, he has worked at the St. Louis Post Dispatch and for CBS News's 48 Hours. He has written two books, Shooting Lincoln and the Ax Murders of Saxtown. He spoke on Millstadt's History and it's role in his life, the writing of his first book, (Ax Murders of Saxtown) and then his greater history. We were grateful for his appearance at the event.
